Bridge Inspection

UII is aware of the nation’s aging infrastructure.  Many of the nation’s bridges were constructed during the 1950’s and are reaching or have surpassed their service life.  We team with DOT’s and others to provide bridge inspections that support the management of the National Bridge Inventory.  We are guided by the National Bridge Inspection Standards, as well as, our well documented Quality Assurance program to provide valuable bridge inspection services.

UII uses proven and improved techniques for inspecting and evaluating many different types of in-service highway bridges.  Our trained inspection staff’s number one goal is safety.

At the conclusion of the NBIS Inspection, UII produces a report with the location map, general background information, inspection findings including photographic evidence, structural analysis, recommendations and cost estimates and supporting documentation.
