Logistics Research & Development is a rapidly evolving sector of interest across DoD, with the principal objective of transforming logistics through the development, application, demonstration and validation of enabling technologies.

UII has extensive experience in Logistics Research & Development, by teaming with government and industry partners to focus on the challenges of delivering improved readiness while lowering infrastructure support costs. UII professionals are active in the pursuit of legacy systems supportability solutions, the implementation of technology redesign solutions to mitigate the impact of material obsolescence, and the re-engineering of outdated or inefficient logistics processes.

Working in collaboration with our corporate partners, UII participation in Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) is growing, developing better logistics through the creative application of emerging technologies.
